TOS – Travel the World E-Book (June 2010)

July 19th, 2010

We are kicking off our 3rd Crew Voyage by reviewing two new products from The Old Schoolhouse(R) Magazine. The first of these two products is the Travel the World E-Book (check back Thursday for our review of Travel Kits).

Here is what the Schoolhouse Store has to say about Travel the World:

Does your child have a curiosity about the world and a fascination for travel?

Whats your destination?

Hop around the globe, visit your favorite places, and experience some fun activities along the way!

Help your child discover the world in a whole new way with our latest module . . .

Travel the World!

Packed full of information, hyperlinks, puzzles, quizzes, and more, all to add fun to your investigation of the world!

How is the earth the setting for Gods story?

Can you piece together the countries of Africa by their shapes?

How do numbers help us find locations on the globe?

Heres a wonderful opportunity to use your childs natural curiosity to enhance his or her knowledge of related science and geography topics while investigating many fun facets of learning about Gods wonderful design for the earth.

Look inside this module to find exciting learning adventures:

  • Travel around the seven continents researching your favorite places to visit.

  • Begin creating your own Travel the World lapbook.
  • Discover what the Bible says about Gods design for earth.
